learning what works & what doesn't. what if i did this? push-pull that. leave it overnight. get up. go for a walk. absorb as much as i can. get back in the studio. try something new. it could be anything.
i started out painting so it was natural for me to approach design with my hands and real material.
much like everything else—nothing is really off limits when it comes to material.
wildposters. magazines. paint. letraset. album covers. products. marker. tape. and just about anything else i can get my hands on.
life has more to offer than just predictable garbage.
if this brand does anything, it should remind you of that.
i'm inspired by people who just did it anyway. people that heard they were "un-qualified", "Crazy", or that their idea "Won't Work" and then they went and did it anyway.

nonsense has a nice ring to it.
nonsense is a reminder that the "sense" we find in this world is a very thin veil.
things make sense only because we believe it to be so. conventions.
i think that most people need to make sense of this world in order to feel connected and at peace. i don't think that i've ever been able to relate to that way of thinking.. and i don't think i'm alone in that.
i feel a great sense of freedom in knowing that so much of this world and this life is utter nonsense.
i also believe that there's a difference between saying something is nonsense and that something is meaningless.
there's a lot of "sensical" work out there that is completely meaningless. there's also a lot of nonsense that means something.
